An MRI also known as Magnetic Resonance Imaging creates images of your body using a strong magnet and radio waves, without the use of radiation. The magnetic field used during an MRI scan stimulates the body’s water molecules which admit signals and therefore produce images of your body. A special computer uses this information to create images on a video screen.
