The Ottumwa Regional Health Center pediatric inpatient unit provides a full range of medical and surgical care for infants, children and adolescents. Here, the patient and family are the true focus of medical and nursing care.
Your child will be cared for by a Board-Certified Pediatrician and highly trained staff.
Our bright, cheerful space provides all single-bed rooms for our inpatients. These larger rooms include a full bathroom and child-friendly shower, and provide plenty of space for the patient’s family members and care team. Patients have access to television, DVD movies and video games. Sleeping arrangements can be made for parents and family members. Computers are also located in each room for staff documentation. Our family-centered approach to care is designed to meet the needs of our patients and foster partnerships between families and health care professionals.
